CEHAH — Strategic Brand & Media Partnership

CEHAH

CEHAH is one of Haiti's leading voices on women's rights and social development. The work happening on the ground is consequential, but without a brand infrastructure to match, that work remained largely invisible to the international donors, grant bodies, and global allies capable of amplifying it. NIVO was engaged to develop a full strategic brand and media partnership proposal: diagnosing the gap, designing the solution, and presenting a structured roadmap for taking CEHAH from local organization to internationally recognized authority.

For a non-profit operating in a high-stakes advocacy space, visibility is not a vanity metric — it is a survival condition. International grant bodies, UN agencies, USAID, and EU funding committees operate on perception as much as on impact data. An organization with strong fieldwork but weak communications infrastructure is, in the eyes of global funders, a higher-risk investment. CEHAH faced exactly this gap. The mission was clear, the community impact was real, and the network of women served was growing. But the brand didn't reflect any of it.

The strategic frame was precise: visibility is the currency of sustainability. For a mission-driven organization, brand is not cosmetic — it is operational. NIVO structured the engagement around three pillars — Trust, Narrative, and Growth — each one mapping to a specific category of organizational need. Trust addressed the credibility gap with institutional funders. Narrative addressed the documentation gap across events and fieldwork. Growth addressed the long-term sustainability question: how does CEHAH build revenue streams, community identity, and self-sufficiency beyond grant cycles?

Strategic Vision & Positioning
A full brand and communications vision articulating CEHAH's path from local non-profit to internationally recognized authority, with a clear strategic rationale connecting brand investment to funding outcomes.

Scope of Work Architecture
Five defined service disciplines: professional event photography and videography; brand identity establishment; narrative blogging for SEO authority; merchandise design for fundraising and staff identity; and annual impact report design for donor and grant audiences.

Tiered Service Model
Three engagement tiers — The Essentials ($350/month), The Storyteller ($850/month), and Strategic Partner ($1,500/month) — each building on the last, designed to meet CEHAH at its current resource level and grow with it.

Proposal Design
A fully designed, interactive HTML document built in NIVO's typography and visual language — delivered as a branded artifact, not a PDF sent by email. A presentation experience designed to demonstrate exactly the caliber of work being proposed.

The CEHAH proposal made the case that the organization's credibility gap was not a resource problem — it was a communications problem, and one with a clear, structured solution. The strategic framework positioned NIVO not as a vendor, but as a partner in CEHAH's institutional evolution. For an organization whose mission is to amplify the voices of Haitian women, the argument was self-evident. The world cannot act on what it cannot see. CEHAH has the heart. The proposal was built to make sure the world sees its pulse.
