Djoune Beauty Studio

Djoune Beauty Studio had been operating since 2020 — a skilled nail technician and braider with a loyal following, a distinctive aesthetic, and a clear sense of who she was. What she didn't yet have was a brand that matched her talent. NIVO was brought in to change that entirely: transforming a service-based beauty practice into a multi-revenue brand complete with its own product line, education offering, packaging, web presence, and growth strategy.

The brief called for more than a rebrand. It called for a business transformation. The client was operating entirely on service income — skilled work, but single-revenue, non-scalable, and with no visual system to carry it. Her work spoke for itself in person and on her feed, but the brand didn't. The packaging didn't exist. The products existed only as a vision. The education offer was undeveloped. The opportunity was significant: a beauty entrepreneur with genuine craft, a defined niche across nails and braiding, and a personality strong enough to anchor a brand. The gap was infrastructure.

The brand needed a signature. The creative answer arrived in the name itself: the cherry on top. Djoune's work is finishing work — nails, braids, the details that complete a look. The cherry became the brand's symbol, its visual anchor, and its attitude. From that single idea, every decision followed. The cherry-and-bow motif became the logo mark. Deep cherry red became the dominant color. The palette — ballet pink, buttercream, mauve, and dark crimson — gave the brand femininity and richness without softness.

Visual Identity System
Primary wordmark with the brand's cherry motif integrated directly into the letterforms. Script monogram sub-mark for small-format label applications. Standalone cherry icon for watermarks. A brand pattern of cherries, bows, sparkles, and hearts deployable across packaging, backgrounds, and digital surfaces.

Packaging Design
Three complete product lines — Djoune Cuticle Oil (30ml glass dropper bottle), Djoune Styling Gel (500ml clear jar), and hand-painted press-on nail display cards. Luxury Premium Hair braiding extensions packaging with branded labels and maroon/gold finish.

Web Design Wireframe & Mockup
Full product shop page mockup featuring Cuticle Oil, Styling Gel, Press-On Nails, and Braiding categories — designed in the brand palette with clean layout architecture and clear purchase hierarchy.

Business Strategy
A five-phase business plan covering revenue forecasting, cost-of-goods analysis (Cuticle Kit: $8 production to $30 retail; Braid Gel: $6 production to $22 retail; 1-on-1 Class: $50 materials to $600 tuition), vendor research, and renovation budget.

Content Strategy
A 30-day launch content calendar structured across three phases — rebrand reveal, product education, and launch week — plus 10 viral Reel hooks to drive awareness around the product line.

Djoune Beauty Studio launched as a brand, not just a service. The visual identity gave the client a system she could hold: a logo that belongs on packaging, a palette that photographs beautifully, and a motif that runs through everything from her product labels to her digital presence. The strategic work gave the business a structure to grow into. With three product revenue streams, a teachable education offer at $600 per student, and a content calendar engineered around a launch moment, the brief was always bigger than design — it was a blueprint for scale.
